Question: When was Van Vliet Transport founded?

Ronald: Our parents set up Van Vliet Transport in Kockengen in 1957.

Question: Who runs the company?

Ronald: My parents used to be the company directors. There was then a period in which the company was a subsidiary of Kuehne + Nagel. In 1999, Van Vliet Transport emerged in its current form with my brother Henry and me at the helm. In 2004, this all changed and Henry's position was taken over by my other brother, Jacques.

Question: What factors have led to Van Vliet Transport's current success?

Ronald: Our company's current success is mainly attributable to the professional service provided by our customer-oriented employees. This has to led to satisfied customers and long-term business partnerships.

Question: What do think will be the determining factors in Van Vliet Transport's future success?

Ronald: Success is determined by having a motivated and professional team that pays particular attention to reliability, flexibility and customer focus.
